While creating a Lifebook for his son, Philip got involved in preserving family stories. He found that telling stories with photographs, memorabilia, and words drew on all of his previous work experience. Over the past 16 plus years Philip has enjoyed watching his children read their “books”, and ask him to take a picture of their latest creation to put in the next book. Philip enjoys helping people get their printed photos, digital images, and family movies back into their lives so they can enjoy and share them. Philip is an entrepreneur who has always loved and believed in the power of telling stories. He started his career as a ballet and modern dancer. Later he co-founded a not-for-profit organization connecting artists and arts organizations around the world, helping with several international arts festivals and conferences. He spent 15 years as the business manager of a church and K-8 school. Whether through dance, theater, art, or teaching, the power of stories to move and mold lives has been a driving force in his life. Philip is a Certified Professional Photo Organizer, Home Movie Certified, a member of the Association of Professional Photo Organizers (APPO), and a Business Member of NAPO – Ohio.
Susan was born and grew up in southeastern Pennsylvania, where she received her first camera (her mother’s old Brownie box camera) when she was still in grade school. She has done graphics and layout work for several arts organizations over the last 20 plus years. Many have said she brings a keen eye to the design and layout of the books we have done for clients. She received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University, majoring in economics and music, and later received a Master of Music degree from the University of Hartford. She has worked in insurance, arts administration, and school administration, played cello with the Lexington Symphony for 15 years and continues to play professionally in Ohio.
