8 Weeks till Christmas – Get a damaged photo restored

8 Weeks till Christmas - Photo Restoration

On the 8th week till Christmas my PPO (Personal Photo Organizer) suggested to me to get a damaged photo restored and give as a gift to family members.

Do you have a favorite family print that has gotten creased, faded, torn, or otherwise damaged that various siblings, cousins, or other family members would be thrilled to see again in its original glory? Perhaps it’s a heritage photo print from the 1800s or early 1900s that you just found of great grandparents or other relatives that many members of your extended family would love to have a restored copy of. This is a really easy gift that you can give and take care of multiple people on your list.

Restoration entails scanning the original photograph at high resolution and then digitally restoring it. All sorts of issues can be taken care of from tears and cracks to fading and discoloration. You can even eliminate extraneous people that happen to be in the photo. The more extensive the damage or the more “editing” the photo needs, the more the cost. We’ve seen some fabulous results when restoring photos that had damage in the face or other detailed parts of the image. Once the digital image is restored, you can have as many prints made in the sizes you need. The closer to the original aspect ration the less you lose when printing as a different size. Restoration should run from $75 to $250 plus the printing depending on how much damage or other editing the photo needs. We can help you with this.
