Photo Restoration

Photo Restoration

Photo prints can last over 100 years and people can have images of great, great, grandparents.  Unfortunately these photos, and even more recent prints, may have been stored in attics or basements where temperature or moisture have deteriorated the image.  Others may have been folded or bent and there are cracks or tears.  Depending on when the print was made, the dyes may have faded or one color overpowered all the others leaving the image with a red or blue tint.

We digitally restore photos that have been damaged, torn, faded, or discolored. If you have an old heritage photo or just a favorite photo that needs some TLC to look its best, let us take a look and see what we can do to restore it.  We will scan and digitally restore your image and then print you a new photo.

We don’t recommend digital restoration for all your photos, just those that are important and have been badly damaged.  You want to restore the images that you will be displaying on your walls, in books, or in slideshows.  Heritage photos important to multiple family members are also good to have restored if there is damage or degradation.  Having a restored photo reprinted lets you display that image without fear of light further fading the original.

Your memories are priceless!  Photographs are like a moment frozen in time that let you remember childhood or loved ones long lost.  Restoring a photo lets those memories live on.
